plastics are tomorrow....

...and i have a COLD!!!! #*%&($**)*@   arghhh i have been fighting it for 4 days now. .i feel like im at the end of it but still its a pain and im scared they will want to reschedule my surgery tomorrow..  i went to drop off my prescriptions today and asked the pharmacist and he said for me to call before i take anymore mucinex today bc they might not want me to take otc meds today before surgery.. the docs office isnt open yet so i have to wait.. He was looking at my prescription for my "transderm" patch thingy i have to wear tonight and during surgery (to prevent nausea and sea sick feeling ) and it says "apply before sx" and he was like "does that mean before .." and kinda looked funny at me.. i was like "before sex?!" he said "yea!" i said "NO! haha its before SURGERY.. i dont rock the boat THAT much during sex!"  lmao i was dieing laughing..  it provided some comic relief in my stressed out day..  i also stocked up on some tuna for today so i can get alot of protein in today. i ate some sardines for breakfast.. LOL That just doesnt even sound good huh!! nasty..  My mom is Really bad sick. so that sucks :( Bad timing. .this will be the first surgery i have that she will not be there for.. luckily my sister in law is keeping my girls for me for a couple of days while im having surgery and in the hospital.. I was hoping mom could keep them this weekend but not if she's sick..  i have to be at greenville memorial at 5:30 in the morning.. which is SOO early, especially since i have to drive from spartanburg, so i have to leave here before 5 to get there in time. me being up at 4 am to get ready sounds like torture already! surgery should start around 8. i have to take a front closure sports bra with me for them to put on me in the OR after surgery.. they are going to supply the compression garment for my tummy tuck.. theyre doing a breast lift, and taking care of the "bra skin/fat" at the same time, and doing a tummy tuck from "table to table" or far hip to far hip.  i will go back in 6-8 weeks and have implants put in since i will be pretty darn flat after this .. theres not alot of breast tissue left now i can only imagine by tomorrow! i dont think im as scared about anything more than being under for 6 hours. that just seems excessive to me but they say it will be okay.. anesthesia told me that being out for 3 compared to 6 there isnt much difference.. i pray everything goes great and i come out in no pain LOL .. im done rambling now, i will try to update as soon as i can!  jen  *** If it seems like i was writing a novel, its copied from my profile blog ! That's the Greenville Memorial at Patewood right?  Give me directions.  I moved my shrink appointment until tomorrow so that I could come see you tomorrow evening.  YOU BETTER BE AWAKE!!!  My shrinks office is on Pelham near the michelin place so if you could give me directions from there I would appreciate it.  I love ya girl and I'll be thinking about you.  I'll come visit, don't you worry.  When you get home, I might bring over some ULTRAs and see how crazy you get with pain meds and love you Rachel

they moved my surgery to the MAIN Greenville memorial campus now instead of patewood! they said patewood (its new) couldnt handle my length of a surgery.. take 85 south to white horse road go right, then to grove road and hang a right and it will run you into the hospital.. Thats the "easiest" way to tell someone who doesnt know where to go. (MYSELF INCLUDED) .. but i know thats a bit farther away than patewood and if you cant come i understand! :)   lmao @ the ultras and pain meds comment! hahaha..  love ya! jen

I am praying for you my sister, I wish for you to have as little pain as possible, I have to work at both my jobs tomorrow so I will not be able to come see you and I am very sad about that. I am going to see if I can move anything around. If you could have Rob call me at work 458-3903 ot you have my cell and let me know. I can then post on the boards if you want me .
