I was denied!!!!!!!!!!

OMG i was denied.  I just want to cry.  Carmen said that she was going to appeal it today.  They said that they didn't have documentation where i had seen the doctor, dietician, and pychologist.  Carmen said she had sent all that in the first time.  I don't know what is going on, but I just can't take it.  I am so ready to get this over with.

So sorry to hear that, but......... DON'T GIVE UP! If that's all they said they are missing then Carmen will get them what they need and keep pushing them. A lot of people get denied the first time, so hang in there and don't get discouraged. Hugs! Mary

PLEASE hang in there!!  I was denied not once, but twice AND had to go before an appeals committee!  As my sweet Angel Robin told me - never give up & keep on their BUTTS!  It'll happen if you're determined.  I know -  I wanted it the day I sent in the initial paperwork, but I think I learned a lot more by having to go thru the whole process.  And now..... I'M ONLY 5 DAYS AWAY!  IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU, TOO! I am so sorry to here this news...but there is a silver lining to every cloud! Hang in there and things will work out. It seems to me that they may have missed placed some paper work or something. I am quite sure this will be resolved.Carmen will appeal and all will be well, you just wait and see. There is no problem to hard for God to handle. Don't worry!  It has been my experience that if they really thought your insurance would not approve, they would tell you that right from the start.  They are used to this.  Let them take care of it.  It seems some paperwork was "misplaced".  Who knows who did it.  Dr. Bour's staff knows everything they need to get an approval and they WILL get yours.  Your day is coming.  Don't worry!  We will be here to cheer you on!

Sorry to hear that!  But hang in there, my approval didn't go through the first time due to insufficient information of the same sort.  I think sometimes they do it as a test to see if you are really interested or not.  I got approved a few days later.  Crossing my fingers and toes for you!

I am sooo sorry for you!!  I just want you to know that if you cannot get approved and you have exhuasted all other avenues, you can have RNY done in Mexico very safely for around $6,000 give or take, depending on the doctor. I have had all 3 of my plastics there, and I will only go to these doctors for my plastics as they are all double board certified in reconstructive plastics in the USA and Mexico and they know bypass surgeons there that are also very safe and I personally would go there even if I had $1million to spend, I would go there because they are simply the best surgeons I have ever seen for plastics, and that is after I interviewed over 5 doctors in both SC and CA, Beverly Hills too. I was quoted over $55k for thigh lift and lowe body lift togeteher.  My doctor said it is dangerous to do both together, so I paid $5400 in Dec. for my LBL and last week I paid $6,050.00 for my Thigh Lift, with lipo and fat injections into the buttocks. my pics are online at www.picturetrail.com/deschueler        usafa123   for passwords of both albums. Hang in there.  This is just your insurance company's way of trying not to have to pay.  It happens all of the time and a lot of us were denied at least once.  This will happen for you.....just don't give up and let the insurance company win!
