WOO HOO it is out!!

Pictures will follow, dont worry Kathy and Melissa, but if I took them now they would XXX.  I am so bruised and swollen.  If you have a weak stomach dont read further. The reason why I was leaking from everywhere was that there was a clog in the drain!   Poor Lauri, Dr. H's nurse tried for about 10 minutes to get to unclog and and get the rest of the fluid out, NO LUCK.  They were threating to pull it out and put in a new one, and if you know where they put that drain, not a pleasant idea.  Dr. Harvey finally decided that he would just draw the fluid out the this needle, HUGE!!!!!!!  I about walked.  He said I would not feel anything and he was right, nothing.  And that is exactly what he got out, NOTHING.  I have to go back on Friday for him to see if he can aspirate some of the fluids off the abdomen.  But I can tell you this, just in the last few days, I have a flat  tummy YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am VERY pleased with Dr. Harvey's work and would recommend him to anyone.  East Cooper Hospital is a whole other thing. Thanks again to all of those who have posted to my post.  Pictures will follow but I am pretty swollen and bruised.  But I can tell you it LOOKS great!  I will post them trust me!  Hopefully next week.

wow julie! that needle would have me running ! ACK .. coming from the girl who skipped her appt to get a cortizone shot in her tailbone bc of being scared of the needle.. i can relate to wanting to run! bless ur heart. im glad u didnt feel it and i hope they can get some fluid out if they need to ! im glad youre happy with the flat tummy! wow i can only imagine. its like i think "in 2 weeks i will have a flat stomach" but like losing weight, you cant invision what it will look like .. so its fear of the unknown for me there too lol. thanks for updating us! hope u continue to get better
