2nd Julie update

Susann and i went to see Julie tonight.  She looks great and was eating a grilled chicken salad.  She's been getting the princess treatment.  The director of nursing on her floor went to the kitchen and called her to find out exactly what she could eat. Her stomach is SO flat. 

I told her that everybody has been thinking about her and she appreciates it greatly.  Julie was also making plans to celebrate her new tummy with some fun night life activity.  We'll have to plan it. have a good Friday everybody!!!! love ya mary

Hi Mary Mary... that is so great!    when I had my plastics I was put in pediatrics after.... lol (there were no beds anywhere else... or SO THEY CLAIMED!)  hahaha.... oh well.   they did not put me with any other children..  at 5:45 when I usually wake up and demanded coffee.. I think they were shocked. I am so glad that you and Susann were able to go and see Julie.   I have been thinking about her all week.   Seems like we have a whole list of our people coming up on different things that will require extra thoughts. You are so good to always lend your kind and caring ways, esp with ALL you have going on. One day left in August and I can say... "see you next month" hugs, J.

Yep, I can confirm Julie really does have  a flat stomach...and she looks great.  Made me feel lots better about my upcoming plastics.... Yes, a night outing is called for when Julie is up and going (maybe even a trip to LV).  

Since my plastics will be in two months, I'm curious as to how much pain she is having from the surgery. I don't know what she had done or if it's as extensive as what I'm getting, but I'm still interested in knowing about the discomfort involved.  Yes,  I hate pain and that is what I am so nervous about. I'm trying to picture being cut 360 degrees around and that picture isn't making me feel too good about it, lol. Any info you can get me is appreciated. Hugs! Mary

Julie basically had a tummy tuck (skin removal and ab muscle tightening).  My plastics are in January and I am having the TT and my girls worked on...I am nervous too.  Are you doing the entire LBL at once?

Yes, I am having the lower body lift plus my breast lifted all at the same time. I know it's going to be so NOT fun, lol. Good luck with your TT/BL. Hugs! Mary

Mary,    She said that the muscle tightening pain is much worse than the incision stuff.  Its like she just  did 200 situps at once she said.    Good Luck!!! Mary F
