sorry i havent been on much at all.. when i found out i had to have surgery we moved our beach trip up with the girls to last week. so we were there a few days and i got home and have been cleaning my house spic n span so that it wont be too bad come tummy tuck time since i wont be able to do much in between these two surgeries cleaning wise. my exploratory lap was today at 10:20. it went well. found out it had NOTHING to do with my gastric bypass. which is a BLESSING For me because insurance WILL pay for my surgery now!!! *YAY* it was from my appendectomy i had in 2005 when i was pregnant. he said there was ALOT of adhesions around that area, all built up.. which is scar tissue. and when i lost weight the fat barrier was gone and its been going into my intestines and kinking them and blocking them sporadically. thus the reason i havent been having the symptoms 24/7 like dawn was. mine was on and off again. its good we fixed it now though bc it would of eventually caused a full bowel obstruction im sure. this was all from my husbands recollection of what dr bour said, so i look foward to talking to him next week at post op. i called dawn on the way this morning and left her a voice mail saying i was hoping to check on her before i went under the knife lol. .but she called back while i was in surgery and left a msg saying she was doing well. :)  dr bour made 3 incisions on me, all below my belly button so that it will be cut off in a month during the tummy tuck. so thats good it wont interfere. my abs are sore i guess he pulled all the intestines around checking them and it made me sore. i hope yall are doing great. i miss seeing everyone. my life is so hectic its crazy. i think im on crack i havent taken any pain medicine yet. it doesnt really hurt too bad feels like i have done 1,000 sit ups. alot easier than the gastric bypass! hopefully i can get on here more and write to yall. i miss everyone. kathy those pics of her first day and toothless are SO cute! :) my girls had their first day monday. awww :) talk to yall later im gonna go rest.  jen

Glad to hear that everything went ok. AND that insurance will pay for it!! woooo hooooo!!!

It's amazing how our body's work...especially when I hear about scar tissue. My wls surgery was about an hour longer than it should have been because Dr. Ross was digging through scar tissue.

Well, get some rest and heal quickly for your next surgery!!

Glad that the insurance will pay,, that is always a blessing. Glad the pain is not to bad as well. Hope you had a wonderful time at the beach, even thought it is dang hot last week.

Girl you are just going to have to stop and smell the roses... well, I guess you did that last week huh???   I am glad everything worked out and you are home recouping and  insurance will pay and all is well with the world. I've missed you Jenn.  I have been thinking about you.  I have your TT date on my calendar so I can come visit.  I don't think we will be doing any lunches this year.  I'm loaded down with schools and will be stuck at most schools during lunch time.  That sucks!!!  We can still get together on the weekends though.  I'm so glad the insurance is gonna cover for your surgery.  What a relief!!!  I didn't wanta have to go down there and open up a can of whoop a$$.    Give me a call sometime girl...We need to catch up.  Rachel

Jen!  I am so glad to hear from you.  I 'm glad it was becasue you were relaxing at the beach and getting things ready before your surgery and not because your were lying around sick!  I was worried. I'm glad they fixed your problem.  AND I'm really glad that your insurance will pay for it.  Those jerks. Teagan actually lost a second tooth on monday, (the snaggled one in the pic) so now she is even more toothless than before. We need to get together again soon.  Even if it is for just a relaxing afternoon of gossiping at someone's house.  Everyone's been so busy, I think we've all been missing support group!
