Hey girl,

So, did you make it through yesterday?? I did pretty good, except on my way home from work, I ate a handful of peanuts. I had a jar of dry roasted peanuts in the car and I was STARVING!!!!! Then I went to tan and work out. I'm so ready for eggs!!!!!

Oh and the good news....I'm down 4-1/2 pounds today from Sunday!!!!!! woooooooooohoooooooooo!!!!! This is making me think that at least once a week, I should do all liquid protein or if nothing else going back to having shakes for breakfast every morning like I did for months after surgery.

Hugs,
Dianne

Oh man you rock girl!!!!  I can't believe it... if I had only stuck to it. I am going to do this... remember I said I could handle the sugar in the Optifast shakes... boy was I wrong.  I have been miserable for the past 2 days.  I have dumped so bad PLUS Aunt Flo came to visit. (Sorry...TMI) I am going to have to buy some shake mix with low sugar content. I am sorry you got stuck with such a loser... and not in the good way!!! I am so proud of you... I am going to start this again on Monday.... my one year visit is next Friday.  I would love to be down at least 5 more pounds.  Keep up the good work... Pam

I did shakes a lot during the first 6 months. I always did them for breakfast....and sometimes as an evening "snack". I had a lot of different protein powders that I tried. Some I liked a lot....some I didn't. I guess when I started working at night last year, it was more difficult to keep the routine up and I quit doing it.....and started eating protein bars. Looking back, that may have been the start of my problems.

Anyways....it's been real eye opening, and I hope that this will keep me motivated. I don't know if I'll start all over again on Monday, but I may have 2 shake meals and then just a regular meal....cut out the fried foods and limit the protein bars.

I am not sorry that I got "stuck" with you...I'll get stuck with you any day of the week. AND YOU ARE NOT A LOSER!!!!!

Hugs,
Dianne
