Major WOW moment for me...
Pam! This one makes tears come to my eyes ... this one thing, all alone and by itself, was everything to me. I HATED never knowing whether I could sit comfortably in seats. And of course, toward the end, I knew the answer ahead of time ,,, it wasn't gonna happen!!!
I remember the first year my son was at Clemson, we went out to the Brooks Center to see him perform with the band ... I was able to wedge myself into the seat, and as long as my husband was on one side, and my daughter on the other ... I wasn't too embarrassed about getting all up in their space.. The very next year, I went and COULD NOT get my ass into the seat. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. That time, and every time after that, we had to sit on the sides of the theater, where they have chairs. My husband would always grumble, saying the view wasn't as good, etc ... but I had no choice. And FORGET going to the Bi-Lo Center ... I tried that once, and came home with bruises on my thighs ... and on my ego.
Fast forward to this year ... at the Justin Timberlake concert in Atlanta ... I FIT IN THE SEAT!!! It was better than sex. I'm serious. Seeing Justin AND fitting in the seat ... better than sex.
Pam I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you!!! Love you much!
Dawn, you are tooooo awesome! I smell what you are steppin' in girl!!!!
There is one building on campus where I worked that I am wanting to
and just slip in undetected and sit in the seats. When I started work
there 12 years ago we always had opening meetings in there each
year for the staff.... I could barely squeeze into them then... about
one year later I could not even get my butt in them but had to sit
lop-sided with one hip sticking up over the arm.... how embarrassing..
One day soon I am going to sneak in there and sit there in all my
glory and scream to the top of my lungs!!!! I FIT!!!! REALLY!!!!!
Let's go to the BiLo center for something really soon... then the Peace
Center... then a school auditorium....then THE WORLD!!!! hee hee hee
I hope you get your house back soon.... I bet everything looks beautiful!
Have a great weekend!
Pam
Man do I know that feeling! LOL! Just like the time we went to Carrabbas and I couldn't fit in the booth and one of the waitresses came up to me and said "sorry but this is not seat yourself" and I had to explain to her that I WAS supposed to be seated there but couldn't fit my fat azz in the booth!!
Hey, I went to Olive Garden once with some friends... they got
a table and the chairs had arms... I was so uncomforable the whole
time... had to sit on about 2 inches of the front of the chair because I
could not even scoot back to get my huge hips in. We don't have to
worry about that anymore.... hee hee hee
