I'm sorry guys. I can't stand this heat!!! I HATE the hot sun. I am such a wimp.
DO you guys know of any indoor tracks? I can not walk or jog outside in this heat and I need to train!! I can;t get myself up early enough in the morning to do it when the temperatures are cooler and I can't wait that late at night either!
So, I will not be at the track after all. If you guys still want to meet to just take a break (DAWN) let me know. I'm sure I can still get out of the house.
I want some cooler weather!!! WAAAAA!!!

If you go to WalMart and put two of the 50 lb dog food bags in a cart and then push the cart along every alse of the store, it gives you a nice work out, You can even do two of three laps.
Also walking in the Mall is a method used in Florida.

I can't walk the Mall or Wal-mart! I'm a shopping addict! I have to stay away! Plus, I really want to jog. I think if I start running there, security might chase me and think I'm shoplifting. LOL!
I think I am going to have to just suck it up and use the treadmill at the gym. I have just been avoiding it. Walking on it is no problem, but I'm afraid to run.
I might lose control and fall flat on my face!
I have to get back to training fo rthis 5K though. I'll be DURNED if I'm gonna let Chrissy out do me in this race!

Well start being DURNED little Miss Kathy. I am up to jogging 4 miles a night, 3 or 4 nights a week. I have to go at 10pm due to work....I'm working 12 hour days!!! How dare they work me so hard.
I find it easier to run my neighborhood 4 miles (4 laps around) than I do 16 laps on the track. And it is so much nicer at 10pm. But, don't worry, I can run backwards and wait for you while we run the 5K...maybe I can run ahead, get a drink, wait...and wait....and wait
Hey good news. My plateau is broken. I'm down 7 lbs in the last 10 days. I guess jogging 4 miles in 80 degree weather does that.........Only 13 more lbs to goal!!
