I'm new here
I'm new to OH 3 days newbie, and I've just been reading some of your messages, were you crazy before surgery or is this something I have to look forward to? No seriously you all seem to be pretty fun people. I live in North Augusta, and I am seven weeks post op, I never new this website exsisted until this week, man have I got alot to learn. Well, just thought I'd say Hi to South Carolina. Pam
Hi Pam,
I am "new" to SC myself..... and I live in Boston! hahaha.... let me explain.... I am in the process of trying to relocate! I started visiting this awesome part of OH (the south carolina board) many many months back... and the folks on here were - are - just the most AMAZING.... so then in June i finally, after many roadblocks in my life was able to make the trek to Charleston... Then Deb, Julie, Sharon, Mary, Jen, Susan, Susann ohhhh and so many others took me under their care and well I had heard of "southern hospitality" before... but my goodness... this group of people here on this board! they are genuine!
They have support group meetings on Thursday evenings that you really should attend!! I cant wait to move so that I can! If you are upstate, then there are some folks up there that I got to meet also.... Fun people, yes.. but it goes so much deeper than that. Hearts of gold, and they (me included) all have been where you are now. This is no easy road and you will find the support that you need here. I had my surgery in May of 05 and struggle sometimes daily with things and always find support and friendship here.
Best of luck!
Jill
Hi right back at you Pam and Welcome to the SC board. I do not know about the rest of them but yes, I was this crazy before surgery just not so public about it.
Remember to ask all questions no matter how stupid you think they are, we have all had them at one time or another.
Again Welcome!
Julie
I can go the distance... I do not care how far... I know every mile will be worth my while.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my DOGS already think I am!
