Whole wheat flour tortillas

Does anyone know where I could get some SOFT whole wheat flour tortillas? Usually the ones I find are tough. Thanks for your help!

Are you heating them up before you try to fold or roll them?  Most of them just break instead of just fold.  I think they taste horrible.  But of course, this is coming from someone who woke up every morning to a stack of fresh homemade tortillas when Iwas growing up.  (Hence the need for WLS...) I don't like whole wheat tortillas.  I just make allowances and eat the regular ones or the corn ones.  I'd rather go without than compromise..hehe.

I do when I make my tacos but I went to a sub shop last week and theirs were really soft and were not heated. I usually use a flour tortilla for my taco (ok, half a taco)!

If you got it from a sub shop, chances are it was probably a "flatbread" and not a tortilla.  I know, I know...sounds like it should be the same.  You can get the whole wheat flat breads from Walamrt and Publix. Other than that, I don;t know WHAT you were eating..hehe..

We get ours from Wal-mart.  They cost a little more than the other ones, about $4 something for 8 of them, but they are good.  Go to the bread isle.  They will have lots of different one, but the wheat ones are there too.
