HELP! Bad stress day
I usually get an extra work out at night in.... I know that sounds awful! But it truly works for me.....
I also find that laughter, helps... like when I get home if I can watch something funny. Even if it is just a 20 minute show of Seinfeld. Something to escape, AND...... if you can work out AND watch the show at the same time...... welllllll.. you really can kill two birds with one stone.
Right now I am so anxious about so many things, and my lord, I just think I should invest in Pepcid AC stock.... lol
My boss just gave me a HUGE project....(to add to the other 10 projects he is waiting on....) I just can not wait to find a new job, and I know.... I know... every job has its stress.... its just that this one has run its course!!
hugs,
J.
Thanks for all the suggestoins. I have been chewing gum like crazy to keep from eating and I made it to dinner ok. Now I am creating some digital scrapbook pages for my weight loss but am taking a break to go walking. Digital Scrapbooking is my "get away" from the real world! LOL!
I have an appt with the psychologist in a couple weeks and I am going to talk to her about it.
I think it is more of a substitute from one behavior to another that gives us comfort, no matter what it is to be. I have in the last week seccumed to the stress eating, but I think I will try to take my dog outside or play tug a war with him in the house. That way it is someone who gives me unconditional love (the emotional aspect) and I get distracted.
Evenings are my roughest time...and I am off my antidepressents. I do miss that supression of appetite help it gives.

I agree....talk with your doctor about changing meds. I talk to my PCP mainly because he is easier to get in touch with and he is a HOTTIE!!!! Whew!!!
I'm just switched to Zoloft from a drug that I had been on for like 10 years. My body had built up a tolerance to it and I was getting no benefits. I have really liked Zoloft. Lexapro is in a different class of drugs that zoloft so it may be that you benefit from taking them both. Finding the right antidepressant can be challenging. It kinda makes me mad how they stick everyone on Lexapro. It didn't work for me and it doesn't work for everyone. Trust me though...with all the drugs out there...you are gonna find one that works.
