She has finally admitted on people.com that she had gastric bypass surgery. I think everyone knew it all along since she has lost 160 pounds, but she kept denying it. After reading the story, I can halfway understand why she did it. Said she was waiting to see if it was going to work. That had pretty much been my attitude also. I figure with the way my luck goes that I would be one of those that would lose 30 pounds and stop, and everyone would know what a failure I really was. Luckily, I have lost 80 pounds so far, thank God, but now my thinking is that I might be one of those who gains it all back !!!!

I think people tend to forget what PHI stands for.... PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION!!! I dont know why its such a big deal the why or how someone loses weight. Society should just celebrate the results. Each person has to make such a personal decision as to the weapon they will use to fight the battle... I dont think its something that people MUST know. For me personal decision, I keep my plan very private. Not many people in my circle, including family even know...Not so much because Im afraid to fail, but because I just dont think everything needs to be everyones business. Im glad she finally told her story. Im sure it will help someone somewhere.

I don't blame her in the least for not disclosing her WLS. She has a right to her privacy. Just as you and I do... It's a very personal decision .. it sad that something like this is news worthy... but she is in the public eye.....and I agree with not wanting to look like a failure... we've all been there with our doubts...  GO STAR!

I don't like Star Jones.  It has nothing to do with her surgery.  It mostly has to do with the fact that she looks like a bug and is a skank ho.

I agree. and her wedding my god. cost enough to feed a small country. i mean come on lets get serious. happy  tuesday!! to all. im working till 9 i have a long long long time to go!!!

omg, Kathy.....  you constantly are making me CRACK UP at work... yesterday I got CAUGHT ... (again!) laughing at one of your posts. and this guy in my office was walking by my office .... and said...
