Lexington hospital
Thanks Kelly, WoW, my responses have been so great, thanks for replying. You are the second person who has gone back to dr. S for other surgery. Are you recovered OK? He must be fantastic. Do the dr. attend the seminars? How has your WLS journey been? any complications? Is there anything that you didn't do that you wish you had when you started? Any surprises at all?
I am fully recovered. Well, still have a little bit of shooting pain at the incesion (sp?) site every once in a while where they removed my gallbladder, but for the most part I am doing great. Dr. S is great!!! He has a wonderful bedside manner and always takes the time to listen & talk to his patients.
My WLS journey has been wonderful. My gallbladder has been the only complication. However, that can be a result of loosing weight quickly no matter how you lost it... The only thing I wish I did was exercise more. I am a very busy mom of 2 boys ( 11 & 14) that keep me running so I have very little time for anything else. I know, I know, I need to make "Kelly time" but that is difficult. At this point I have lost about 135 lbs. and feel great!!!!
