DAY 1 OF OPTIFAST
I agree with the others about it getting better after about 3 days. I also added more water to my shakes to stretch it some (i'm thinking about 2 oz more water) and it helped curb my hunger a little better until the next shake. I started feeling hungry about 30 minutes before my next shake. It was like clockwork! My favorites ended up being the chocolate and the vanilla. I got tired of all the sweet stuff after a while and did 1 meal a day of the Unjury chicken broth instead of a shake.
I also had some dull headaches in the beginning but I figure it was my body fighting the healthy stuff I was feeding it! I am not a pickle eater but the popcicles were a life saver (especially when you are post surgery). You will go through some rough spots with the diet phases but it is all worth it in the end! I lost 23.8 pounds in 4 weeks with the Optifast.
I'm excited for you girl! We are here for you if you ever need us! This is a great group of people!
Oh well! Wish I could give you some advice but i am the WORST person to give advice. I got so sick of optifast that I started to just "watch" what I ate. Not a very good idea. However, I was lucky. I only had to do optifast for 1 week. However, I should have done it longer and should have stuck with it better, my liver was HUGE during surgery and Dr. Bour had to do some moving around which left me very sore!! Hang in there. THe next couple of month are gonna be sorta tough if you love food as much as I did. Hang in there. It gets better.
