What's Your Exercise Wow

This was amazing for me.  Last night I was at the pool and I have been swimming laps.  I used to swim ALOT, I was a lifeguard and even taught the lifeguarding classes when I was in my late teens and early twenties.  I was doing the crawl and thought, okay let's see what you can really do, I tried to imagine what Kathy's trainer would have said. I did the swimteam medley which is two lengths each  of butterfly, backstroke,breast strroke and free style at about a level 8 intensity for me.  I then swam hard for about another 15 minutes.  Then I did our old lifeguard search pattern which is doing a surface dive, swimming 3 strokes under water, coming up and surface diving again and swimming for two lengths. I can't believe I did this.  This is some of the workout I did when I was twenty and truly fit.   I am so sore today, but I don't care, I feel great. SO MY FRIENDS, WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE WOW Mary

Mary that is awesome... does my waking up in the morning count for my exercise wow? I've not been working out at all in the past few months... too scared I'll force another hernia and PS scares me to death these days... Congrats on your swim workout it made me tired just reading Stephie

Sweetie,    Your sitting up inbed and moving to the couch counts.  As I told you, I would live under the covers if I were you.  Plus you clean houses, that's tons of exercise!!! M

Holy crap Mary! Even Seabiscuit wouldn't expect that much out of me!  You should be so proud of yourself. I haven't had any wows lately.  I think my next wow will be when I can jog without my butt hurting.

Kathy,    The act of actually jogging is a WOW to me.  I have every excuse in the world not to do it.  My latest is that I don't want to disturn Dr Harvey's hard work.    Good luck with the visitors!!!!       Mary

Cool Mary that is great!!!  . I would have to say my exercise WOW is (ok be prepared this is gonna sound nasty) is when I am on the elliptical and feel how hard and tight my booty is!  LOL   Wait....but then again....I don't have a booty....but still I can feel the bone structure back there for the first time.  Also, I can still breathe after 30 minutes. HOT MARY-that is fantastic-you should be proud....great news!! My exercise wow is I racewalked the entire neighborhood without stopping....many people were out in their yards and noticed how well I was doing!! I know they were very impressed oops--my wife just called, something about a petition that is going around the neighborhood....hmmmmmm
