1 year today (long)
t was a year ago today that I had my gastric bypass... for the year it wasn't a smooth ride for me, my incision opened up with infection and having to pack it for almost 2 1/2 months then spending the first 6 months sick as a dog and no energy... then my alien baby had to appear (hernia) loss of insurance making me live on pain meds so long, then when I finally get medicade I have it fixed by a QUACK ....
as for the gastric bypass if I were asked if I would do it again, I would have had to say no a few weeks ago.... but now that I finally found a doc that would listen to me... I'd have to say YES even if for a second...
my highest weight in my lifetime was 250 day of surgery was 240 TODAY'S weight 119 ..... Doc's goal (well kinda a goal he doesn't set one but what he thought I should be) 130... my goal 125...
I've made some amazing friends from having my surgery and their successes have inspired me to make myself push to the limit in somethings that I can and can't do...
I love coming to OH and I love Quixotic, as with any public form you have good mouthing and bad mouthing... I take what I want from both places and I leave what I don't care for...
To those that's new I say research and research some more... just when you think you know everything about your surgery TRUST me there's always something NEW !!
To the special ladies that were my OH angels Dianne Stone and Debra Spencer... THANK YOU both for always being around when I needed you... I love both of you !!!!!
Well this is getting too long so gonna wrap it up now...

Happy surgiversary Stephanie!(<----sugar free)
You've had it tough this past year, but you have come through with flying colors! I am glad that you are at peace with your decision once again. I have to tell you that you have served as an inspiration to many on here on how to overcome adversity as well as an example to many that this IS NOT the easy way out. It is a life changing decision that we have to work hard at.
You are a beautiful person inside and out and I am glad that you have continued to come here through it all!
