Alrighty folks.  I think I am finished with my pity party that no one else was invited to.  I am feeling more like Kathy again. So now I am ready to play. Someone pick a topic and lets discuss.  Whatever you want. But if you pick sex, I must  admit that I really don't have much to talk about there...

I don't have any needs. and I have a 5 year old and NO privacy and no one to take her off our hands.  I actually told my husband that she is really having an adverse affect on our relations.  I hate to blame it on her, but its true.  Its just too much of an effort to "arrange" everything.  Takes all the romance out.  If there is no romance, I don't want it.  Its a horrible cycle.

I can relate.  I fell asleep lying down with Scott Tuesday night.  I woke up at 11 and crawled in our bed.  The next thing I know Scott is in our room screaming, "Mommy, why did you leave me".  I didn't have this problem with him until lately. UGH

That is exactly what has been happening at our house.  I love her to death, but she is suffocating me!  She is sooo attached to me.  She cries if I leave.  She is constantly on top of me...literally.  If I sit down, she jumps on my lap.  If I LAY down, she wants to lay on my chest or cuddle.  I swear I am NEVER comfortable. Nighttime only became a struggle when she got older.  When she was younger, she would go "BEDTIME!" and head to her room and lay in her bed ALL BY HERSELF!!  I knew it was too good to last...

I feel for you Kathy.. .Logan was like that for a while.. it was like he was suction cupped to my hip. If I did get him to sleep in his own bed... around 1am.. I would have a set of cold feet pressed up against my back.  She'll get over it.. I know right NOW.. it seems like she's never going to let go. But she will... and then you'll be like me and cry when I drop 'em off at school.. I'm NOT ALLOWED to kiss him good bye anymore.. if I want a kiss, we have to do it in the house before we get in the car to go to school. And I'm NOT allowed to yell " GOOD BYE.. or HAVE A NICE DAY  or  I LOVE YOU.. SEE YOU TONIGHT.." .. .I've been instructed to just drive and not speak.

i can so relate.. my "kids sleeping in their own bed" thing didnt last but 3 nights.. I still have my 2 yr old who is ATTACHED at my HIP 24/7 sleeping in the bed with me, or UNDER Me. it wears my body out totally.. and sometimes karington will get out of her bed(the one next to ours in OUR bedroom, i had to do something when i had the 2nd one! and she wouldnt budge out of the room! LOL) and she will climb in bed with me.. so then theres NO Room at ALL. on top of that Kassidy likes to wake up at least 2 times a night still for a BOTTLE. UGH she will not give that thing up shes fighting it to the death of me! lol (she just turned 2, but STILL .. its getting alil bit much) people wonder why i want to RUN AWAY for a weekend every now and then.. Come stay with my kids overnight one night and youll see why!!! my mom let them spend the night the other night bc i was so sick and i dunno if it was the phenergen or the lack of children in my bed but i slept like a DREAM!!! and actually HAD dreams for the first time in a long while. *disclaimer* its healthy to bixch about your children.. but i wanna add i love them dearly and would not trade them for anything in the world!!!! LOL even though they are spoiled lil ****s.. lmao

Cashews are addictive because they are full of fat. Fat = yummy. Not fair.  but true.  Why can't iceberg lettuce or celery (no dips) be addictive?  Because they have no fat in them. It is a horrible cruel joke played on us by mother nature.
