Hey everybody,   I just want everybody here to know how much I appreciate all of you. I have been so depressed the last several months, because of my weight, it's summer I live at the beach, and  I am fat. Then I happened to find this site..I am in the process of getting everything together for the surgery, and everyone is helpful, but not only that, I feel the genuine friendship. I wish I could  just hug all of you,  I promise, you all have saved my life,  this site and each of you have given me a reason to get up in the morning.  I've read the sucess stories and I just cry because I am so happy for you, and the people like me, just getting started, we are here together, it is so wonderful to have friends like you. I could go on and on forever, but I just want to express to you all how much I appreciate you, and the inspiration I have received from you. Hopefully soon we can all meet face to face, always know, each and every one of you are welcome at my house anytime. hugs

Esther  are so sweet!  You will find an acceptance here that you won't have anywhere else. We all know what you are feeling and we are here to help you and support you!!!  I am so glad you are here with us now!!!

hey Esther! Long time no post!  Glad to see your back!!!! I have been having a hard time lately too! I swear its in the air. I am blaming it on the heat!!! haha But I vowed this morning to stop making excuses and to start moving my butt...well not just my butt...haha.  Everyone on the board is cool. Lots of good info. Im a pre-op (BIG FAT CHICKEN) too... haha...But I love reading the stories...

I am so glad you found this sight.  Every single one of us started out feeling just the way you do.  Sick and tired of being sick and tired.  There are no words to express how good of a feeling this surgery gives you.  You feel like you are in controll of the fat monster for the first time in your life.   The first month you ask yourself what in the world did I go and do. Every month after that gets better and better and you get smaller and smaller loosing more and more weight.  Then you find yourself happier and more doors just seem to open for you. I am so excited for you.  I can hardly wait for you to be on the loosers bench.  I am saving you a seat right beside me.

You know, of course, that just about everybody here can understand the depression that comes from excess weight, especially in the summertime.  I had stopped going outside entirely ... not to mention going to the beach or a pool ... because of my size.  I spent the last many summers drenched in sweat, even inside in the air conditioning.  Misery, yeah? I'm so glad that you feel comforatable here with us, and you can allow yourself to start to believe and come to know that you can live life a different way.

Easther,  what a beautiful letter!  Everything you said about this site is so true.  It has been my life line.  I'm not one to talk to or type to  many people or to vent my feelings.  But reading so many success stories and to know that there IS a life to be lived. We Can do it with God and the wonderful people here to help. Keep the Faith.   Florence
