Sorry everyone...Need to Vent

First I just want you to know how much the kindness and the non judgemental attitude on this board means to me. I am a member of another board for my pet sitting business and everytime I go there for some info and advice and support, most of the time I get judged.  No Support, No "I am sorry to hear you are going through this".  I just about posted about if  any one has last minute reservation charges because I get a lot of clients calling and saying they need me tomorrow.  I have had 2 today.  One even needed me to change the filter in the pool and got upset when I told her I did not have time today to come over and have them show me because I had my nephews in town and I was booked tonight for visits.  She said she would talk to her husband and call me back.  Well EXCUSE ME FOR HAVING A LIFE PEOPLE!!!!!  Well back to my story...  the last statement was I put was positive suggestions are welcome.  Well I got 2 people that responded, one was great and gave me some good advice on how she handles them.  The other decided I need a lesson in how she hates it when people stated that they are being used and abused.  Which is something I said in my post that I am feeling used and abused by some of my clients.  So needless to say, I told the one with the nice response thank you and ingnored the not nice responce.  Sometimes I so regret opening this business...  URG!!!!!!!!!!!!! So thank  you all for all the support you have given me and not being judgemental.  You do not know how great it feels to feel so free to post on this board and not be scared of the responses you will get.

Thanks Susann.  It just really irriates me.  I almost posted on another board for my grooming about this but decided it was WAY to preachy for them.  So I didnt.  I am going to change my membership when I renew it next year.  I only joined that organization because they had a company that would give a discount on Health Insurance but when I called to get a quote, I got a lecture about how I should not quit my job that has health insurance to go out on my own.  Needless to say I called and complained to the national organization.  I am just tired of people's judging me when they have not walked in my shoes.  Know what I mean??

You know, I always want to tell people who give unsolicited advice ... did I ask your opinion on this???  How do they know your situation?

Thanks Becky... I miss you too.  And I try not to pay attention to those people but it is hard!  I just wish they would follow the rule if you do not have something nice to say, keep your mouth shut! Glad to see you have your computer back. Julie

MEAN PEOPLE SUCK!!!! You are fulfilling your dreams. Most people cant stand that! The not so nice responder needs to drink some "ACT RIGHT"
