Hello to all,
I am doing some more research about the rny and was wondering if anyone had mood swings after the surgery. I have heard that some people cry for no reason and some are angry for no reason. I would just like to prepare my husband for what's ahead. He said that he will support me no matter which is sweet but how bad can it get? Why does it happen and about how long will it last? I am awaiting insurance approval before I get a date, I am already on pins and needles. I really would like to know what I need to for warn him about. He knows the basics but I was hoping to get a little bit more info for him.
Thanks For Any Help
Ruth

The mood swings are a thing after the sugery of a truth. Part of it I have been told is due to for women fat stores estrogen, thus that affects our moods. Our surgeon suggest Lexapro until at least 6months post-op, to help stablize the moods and all the changes our body and psychie are going through.

Just prepare your husband to watch you struggle and learn a total new lifestyle and to keep it in mind and take a deep breath, then be supportive. God love those that are in our lives that put up with us for those months.

Hope this helps.
