Wow moment

I actually rode my husbands bike tonight in my neighborhood... I have not even been on a bike since my late teen years. I loved it!  I forgot how fun it was to ride a bike. I finally put what everyone else would think when they saw me on the back burner and I  just did it for me. This surgery has given life back to me. I can't wait to try other things that I had given up because I was just to big and unhealthy. This surgery is the best thing I have done. Pam

My butt ate my bike seat everytime I tried to ride it,  so, I had a stationary bike that I was getting rid of, and I took that big fat booty seat off and put it on my street bike.  It feels so much better.  I wish I could take the EXTRA padding I have on my tummy, off,  and put it on my booty.

Well, it doesn't look like I will be able to go tomorrow night after all. I feel like a terrible mother right now because........... tomorrow is my son's 36th birthday, and I forgot all about it until about 1 hour ago at work. Shame on me! So I guess it will have to be some other time, hopefully real soon. I will be switching over to the patient discharge area on July 23 and I will be having Monday's off over there, at least for a while, so yeah  for me I will have a free day to do somethings just for Mary, alone. Yeah... after about 15 minutes it felt like I was sitting on a stick.  and when I got back to my house I could hardly make it up my front steps my legs felt like noodles. Thanks, Pam

I haven't been on a bike either!!! Lets go bike shopping!!  I want a comfort cruiser.  Bike seats make my butt hurt - from what I remember...
