Atlanta bound - anyone else?

Robin & I are going to the OH conference in Atlanta on 9/8 - anyone else out there going? The only thing that may stop me from going is if I get approved and my surgery is 9/7! I finish my 6-month physcian supervised diet plan (?) on 7/17 and am hoping for a quick approval.

PLEASE EVERYONE - keep me in your prayers! I know it will happen in God's time, not mine, but it can't hurt to have a few friends whispering in His ear...

Hi Hellen. I have been thinking about going. When is the last time you can register? I will bring it up at the LCBB meeting and see if anyone else is thinking about going. I will definitely keep you in my prayers. It will happen!

The site didn't really say there was a deadline. I went ahead and purchased our tickets for $20 online (they can be bought at the door for $35). The Hilton has a special rate of $72/night for the conference (not bad for Hilton). Please mention it to everyone! Maybe we could get an LCBB group together Saturday night! I would love to go but I am only going to be 10 post op from the TT so I am not sure. I would hate to tell you to count me in and then not be up for that long of a trip.

That's perfectly okay, Julie! I would much rather know you are at home safe & recuperating than being on the road. You just have to promise to post pictures of you in the new bikini when it's all done!

I'm thinking about it...but my hubby doesn't want to go. SO, I may see if someone wants to ride together, though I probably won't stay overnight. Maybe. lol
