You didn't say what doctor your going to. My doctor's ( Eric Bour) enrollment fee includes, all the pre-op psych. testing, optifast, pre-op meetings, nutritionist meetings, post-op meetings  and ones with the nut. and psych. doctor and it is for a life time. Office visits with the doctor are not included, you pay your regular co-pay for that. All suppliments vitimins, etc. you pay separate for also. Hope this helps, but it will depend on who your doctor is. Mary

No, my insurance didn't pay for the enrollment fee. I was hoping it would pay back some of it since the psych and nutritionist is condsidered medical. I even wonder if they filed it since I never got any thing from my insurance company about it. OH well, I guess the life time thing is worth it, so I won't complain. I wish you luck with everything. We have a great support group if your interested in joining us on Monday's after Dr. Bours meetings. Mary

thank for your info. i would like to join your group one night.  is it just for ones that have had surgery???  is it for ones that have had rny and lap band or just rny? I read your profile and post and laughed at some of your responses.  we are alot alike.  i will be 50 in sept. and have been married to a wonderful man for 30 years this nov.   i am about 250 now and would be tickled to be at 180.  i have too many health problems and want to get off some of these meds.  i have two sons, one married, one on the way to marriage.  26 and 24.  no grandbabies yet....

Your so welcome! Our support group is for anyone who wants to join us. We have pre-op and post-ops, RNY and LAPBAND. It's especially great for pre-ops who have a lot of questions about the surgery or anything relating to it. We have all been there and done that, so you will make wonderful friends here. We love to have fun  by having get togethers and being socialble outside of the doctors office setting. We would love for you to join us anytime, just read the post on here either Sunday or Monday morning and someone usually post where we will be meeting after Dr. Bours or you can just come to the support meeting and stay after for the post-op meeting and get to meet us. Many Mondays I attend the pre-op meeting instead of driving  home and driving back to Greenville, so just look for me at your meeting, which will probably be this coming Monday. I hope it all goes well for you and that we do get to meet soon. Hugs! Mary
