What happens when your BMI is 40 and the insurance company wants you to do 6 months dieting before they will approve you and after the 6 months you BMI is below the required BMI for surgery????
I know I have heard others that their insurance company requires them to try a trial diet for six months that is physician supervised. I dont know any though that I talked to that dropped below a BMI out of the obesity range. I too say talk to the dr. office
