Looking for spandex shorts - help!

I had my 1 month (well it was really 6 weeks) appt with Dr. Bour yesterday and he told me my shape was a combination between a man's and a woman's since I am carrying most of my extra weight in my tummy. Great! He told me I need to look at having the extra skin removed sometime next summer and told me it looked like I had 30-40 pounds of extra skin just in my tummy. Talk about a quick weight loss!!! LOL!  ANYWAY, he suggested I find some spandex shorts to help support my tummy and told me to look at Walmart. I went there and couldn't find any in plus sizes. Can anyone tell me who might carry plus size spandex shorts? I told my husband that they prbably didn't even make them since it is probably a law that plus size people shouldn't even WEAR them to begin with! Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Karen, Look at Walmart's in the undewear department, where the bra's undies and girdles are. They have girdles that fit like panties that come up over your belly and the one that I love and wear everday to keep my back from hurting, the body girdle that fits like a one piece bathing suit and hooks in the crotch. I LOVE IT! They cost anywhere from abot 10-19 dollars. and come in black, whit and tan. Good luck and God bless, Debra

hey I had alot of weight in my tummy & my friend has alot she went to wallmart & got bike shorts they fit nice & snug hey you can even go swimming in them they are great & do not cost alot

My husband went there (the Walmart in Greer, SC) and they told him they didn't carry them. We went back the next day and we looked in sporting goods and then in the women's and men's sections and finally found small thru XL size but nothing larger. Where in the world are you guys finding them? I need a 3X womens or a 2X mens. LOL! How is your tummy doing after your TT? Is it a really painful surgery? How long are you out of work?
