The AFLAC scam

Watch out for this scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Police are urging visitors to the city to be especially vigilant for a new gang operating a slick routine that is aimed at stealing from unwary persons. They say that the gang usually comprises four members, one adult and three younger ones. While the three younger ones, all appearing sweet and innocent, divert their "mark" (or intended target) with a show of friendliness and fun, the fourth -- the eldest -- sneaks in from behind the person's back to expertly rifle undetected through his or her pockets and purses or bags for any valuables being carried. The attached picture taken from CCTV operating in the inner city shows the gang in operation.

Stephanie, How have you been doing? Last time I read a post from you, you seemed really depressed and were still in a lot of pain from your surgery. I hope you are doing a lot better. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm getting better... I'm still depressed and I can't lay on my left side any more... seems like there's something on the left side that is hard and when you lay down and put pressure against it it goes into spazms so I try my best to not get on my left side... I still have pain in the muscles that are still healing but not no where near as bad as it was... How are you doing? Stephie

I feel great! I am about 6 weeks out from Rouz-en-Y and am down 53 pounds. It is great to actually have some energy for a change! I am waiting for my nutritionist appt on Tuesday and the ok to eat shrimp, crab, and salad - just in time for my Myrtle Beach vacation in a couple weeks! woo hoo!!! I need the extra energy because my oldest daughter and the 3 grandkids (7 year old girl - my buddy and 2 boys, ages 5 years and 6 mths) are here for the summer! My son-in law was here for 2 weeks on leave from his tour in Iraq but he is back there now until December. It was the 1st time he had seen his youngest son. He missed seeing him born by 6 days - bummer. If you ever need a frind to talk to I'm there for you, ok?

53 pounds in 6 weeks is GREAT !!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a great time at the beach and you should be able to enjoy those foods.... Just remember to chew chew chew... thanks for being here for me... also remember I'm always here if you need someone as well... *hugs* Stephie

I wi**** was 53 pounds in 6 weeks! I had lost 23 pounds on the pre-surgery diet. LOL. Do you get together with the upstate girls on Monday nights? I would love to meet you some day. It is really cool to have friends that can really understand what you are going thru.

honey 53 pounds is still great... it took me over 5 months to loose that.... I don't go to the Monday meetings cause they're in greenville and I can't drive good enough for big cities... I do go to our meetings we have in spartanburg sometimes.... and you're right on the part of people understanding.... I couldn't have made it without Dianne and Debra they have been my rock for this journey... and this board... but mainly them two since I do get to see them... Stephie
