Even though noone asked...

Even though noone asked about my WILD and CRAZY Sod laying party this weekend! I'm going share the afternoon event with you!! I got out there about 10am (( I slept in just a little!!))... then I had to look for a pair of gloves that would fit.. but not break a nail... I layed about 6 sod pieces..and decided this type of labor was NOT for me.. My fathers words echoing in my head.. " Stephanie.. work SMART not HARD" .............. So I called a friend who owns a landscape company.. he called 2 of his workers.. asked if they wanted to make a little extra cash on the side.. and POOF... next thing I know there were men in my backyard with shirts off laying sod... I did my part tho, I made hamburgers and hotdogs.. I kept the cooler packed with ice and cold bottled water.. and kept the music going!  Anyway.. I've posted 2 pictures on my profile.. sorry about the graininess.. I took them with my camera phone... now all we have to do is plants the tree's and plants and lay the mulch in the sculped areas !! I know most of you are heart broken that you weren't able to make it... *sigh*

Stephanie... believe it or not... I was going to ask you how your "party" went. But then I got involved in the battle of the sexes going on in the earlier posts and lost my thought.  I am bad that way.... I am glad that your nails were saved and you found some good hard working men to do the job... those are hard to find these days.  (looking for men!) Pam
