Well I am home. I had my surgery Monday and I came home Weds. afternoon. Anyway I feel great. I was so scared I was going to be in horrible pain... but I'm not. I had a wonderful doctor. The staff at Palmetto Health Baptist was wonderful. I am so happy I did this. It's like I am ready to start a new life.

Hi Linda! Welcome to the "losers side" :) I hope you continue feeling well and with such a positive and upbeat attitude. That is so wonderful. Please remember you just had major surgery and I hope you take things slow, even though you just feel so great!! (not that I am trying to sound to much like a mom!!) I had "open rny" with my gall bladder also being removed... and my recovery was a little bit longer i think because of it... I also had some issues crop up while I was in the hosp not related to the surgery.... eeek. But now all is well and I dont regret this for one second.
