New update on me

I went in today... Dr. Rhinehart checked me out... he said the pain is more or less the healing and it'll be healing for around 6 weeks... but he did give me some meds for my pouch... from what I told him he seems to think it may be an ulcer or gasteritis (sp?) in the old part.... I'm doing better, I've started taking 3 tylenols crushed up every 4 to 6 hours and it's helping... I kept my stage 1 diet down tonight ... so tomorrow I go to stage 2 and slowly work up.... the bile and dark blood he said if from the surgery since it took awhile for my bowels to wake up.... so that's good to know but NO blood was found when he tested me today....the bile and dark blood he said if from the surgery since it took awhile for my bowels to wake up.... so that's good to know but NO blood was found when he tested me today.... thanks guys for the kick in the pants that I needed... love ya all Stephie

Glad to hear you went to the doc.  Hoepfully, you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I know this has been tough on you, just hang in there.  Remember your protein!!!! Melissa
