wouldn't it figure...

that I would be the one to get the phlebotomist on her FIRST DAY ON THE JOB to draw my blood this morning for my 1 yr check up!!!!  I was scared.. and thought maybe i should ask the other woman who looks like she knows what she is doing to do this.. but i thought nahhh that would be rude, ill give her the benefit of the doubt. BAD IDEA!  She goes to stick the needle in my VERY LARGE EASY TO STICK VEIN, and i thought ouch! then i felt something WORSE And thought OMG! I look down she has went IN the vein, and back OUT OF my arm on the other side of the skin!!!  i was like WTH! she jerks it back out of my arm and cover it with the gauze while blood is going everywhere saying "SORRY SORRY".. i was like o m g. im in a nightmare! She was obviously terrified of sticking me to begin with then this happened and she was even more terrified of sticking my other arm.. I saw her glance out the door like she was going to call the other lady to do it but then didnt, i said "yeah i think we should call her in here to do it" she said "me too" .. i said "first day?" she said "yeah" i was like oh great! no wonder.. so the other woman comes in and does it right and im out of there.. I told rob what happened he said "whyd you make the other one do it? shes learning" I said "Learning?!? Not on ME shes not!" if i want to volunteer my body to be stuck by people "learning" i would go to the technical college and let them stick me ! so now i have two huge bruises on one arm, and one bruise on the other. UGH i hate needles..  and to make it better you could tell the one gal was kinda big and looked down on me for having surgery at my age.. without SAYING It.. i could tell.. ( i get that often) .. and she was like "so , how much have you lost?" when i never even said "Ive had wls" or anything.. as if its any of her business to ask me anything like that! i was like "145" she said "hmph. when i was your age i could run a mile and lose 10 lbs easy" i was like omg no she didnt. and i kept my mouth shut and left! rawr if i were mean i would of said "Well what happened.. you look like you could use WLS now!" but im nice. so i didnt.

Just your luck! What day is your appts with Michelle and Dr, Bour? I see Michelle at noon on the 21st and Dr. Bour 2:15 on the 22nd. Me

well i was supposed to see Michelle the 18th at 9 but someone called me yesterday and cancelled it saying she would be out of the office and that they would call me to reschedule.  and dr bours appt at the 22nd at 11:00.. Maybe we could do lunch in between our appts? little "1 yr out celebration"? LOL .. you probably cant get out of work but let me know! (I cant believe its been almost a year!!)

I got something in the mail today that changed Michelles appt again and now I m supposed to see Dr. Bour tomorrow morning at 9:00. I am gonna not show for it and keep mine on the 22nd! I will leave work that day at 12:30 and have the rest of the day off!

Just FYI The woman I went to in Mauldin...absolute pro. I never felt a thing.. But YOU choose to ignore MY directions.... And thats all I have to say about that

 ahahahha.. serves me right!!! haywood road just sounded more appealing.. although i didnt go to the mall hmph. lol ill go to mauldin next time!

I hate needles.. if I see the needle.. my palms get all sweaty.. and I start getting sick to my stomach... for my 6 month I had to have the blood draw.. I had to sit in that chair for 5 minutes after because I felt so light headed...  I'm just freakkin delicate that way...
