Busy Busy Busy!!

Today is going to be a busy day for me - at work, at the gym AND at home. Maybe it will be the key to keeping my mind off of food.  I weighed myself this morning (I had been avoiding it) and I did not like what I saw at ALL!!! I'm not gonna beat myself up about it because I usually gain a few pounds at this time of the month and it will come off again PLUS I am taking control.  No more excuses for me. Personal trainer wants me to try to incorporate more carbs into my diet, which is kind of weird for me because other than when I am BLATANTLY cheating, I generally stay very low carb and very high protien.  I have a call into Michelle (our nutritionist) to get her to ease my fears about this and maybe offer some suggestions.  They also want me to give up the whole eggs and stick to egg whites.  More bang for my buck they say.  More protien and takes up less room since I can't eat as much as most of the other people they train. Even though I am busy, I will be checking every now and then for some stress relief breaks.  Asking me to give up OH would be like asking me to give up oxygen.  It ain't possible,  SO KEEP ME ENTERTAINED!!! Love you guys!!

I'm so happy that you have a busy day.  If I don't have busy days I sit around and get depressed.  I have a doctor's appointment today about my meds.  He will probably try me on another antidepressant!  I already take 2!!  I'm so proud of you for working out and getting back on track.  That is so inspiring to me.  Keep up the good work. measure!!! when i started working out before i gained weight for 2 weeks! muscle weighs alot but it takes muscle to burn the fat. so its a double edged sword.. watch your clothes and not the scale for a while! Congrats on getting on track! i gotta do the same! :)

That whole carbs thing is all about energy. I dont know how that will work for a WLS pat cause its not like u have a lot of room to fit all ur protein plus carbs!

Good luck with those egg whites though!! Yesturday was busy as heck! Im whooped and ready to climb right back into bed!
