I just had my first wow moment.  I know this may  seem insignificant to most people but for me it means the world.   I have 2 girls 7 and 9.  For years now my husband has tucked them in and when they wake up scared take them back and tuck them again.  Today was 3 weeks 1 day post op I'm down 30 pounds.  Well the girls woke up crying and I told my husband  that I felt like doing it.  For years now  EVERY SINGLE step has been excruciating painful  and I only walked when I had to.  But tonight I felt  like going to the other end of the house and tucking them in.  PRAISE THE LORD.  You should of seen my girls face first they thought something was wrong because I came and I told them that mommy is  getting better everyday and will be able to do more  and more.  There little faces were so happy and my heart is leaping with joy.  Thank you God!   I have been regretting this surgery - no more, tonight made it all worth it. ***Don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle*** Renee

That is WONDERFUL!! In no way do I think any of us would think that is insignificant, we have all experienced this in one way or another.  Seeing the happiness this surgery not only brings us, but our children and families is very very special.

Soon you will be running and playing with them.  They will love their new, healthy, happy and FUN Mommy. It only gets better from here! Kathy

Hey,    I'm so happy for you.  My favorite wow moment was when I was able to sit comfortable at the beach with my 5 year old and build sand castles.  Being healthy is the BEST!!!!    I can't wait to hear about more of your wow moments Mary
