it worked?!?!

ok.. So I woke up this morning at 6:30, looked around, there were no kids in my bed!!!!  HOLY COW IT WORKED! lol.. They slept in there all night long.. im still in shock, especially for the almost 2 yr old.. I have to say i did miss my snuggle time.. but! I actually had a deep sleep without waking up 20 times so YAY ! lol. .. I think Im liking this!   and JEAN!!! HUSH!! Im not planning on anymore youngen's LOL We are "done" .. I couldnt handle 3.. I would be crazy!

We do the "cuddle and sneak" thing too. We also do they "sleep and carry."  Where she falls asleep with us and we carry her to her bed.  She'll wake up and try to come back, but we can usually walk her back to her bed if she is sleepy enough. Oh how I long for the day when she will JUST GO TO HER OWN BED AT BEDTIME AND SLEEP THERE ALL NIGHT!!! But then I'll probably complain that she grew up too fast.  You just can't win.

Let's see.....when did Danny go to his own bed at bed time and sleep there all night??? First of all, he needed a back scratch.....then He would still come get in my bed. I think he was like 13 or 14!!! no, really!!!

Willow doesn't sleep with us but once in a blue moon if she had a bad dream. She prefers her own bed but if we are watching TV she will come down and want to sleep with us but the minute I turn it off she wants to go back to her bed. I'm glad she doesn't sleep with us alot or I would never sleep, them kiddos take up 3 times there size in space I swear. Marcey

That is reason to celebrate!!!  I know exactly how hard it is.  I have never really liked my kids in the bed, but it still seemed to happen.  This week Samantha has been sleeping with us since she had surgery. Last night MIke told her that she would be well enough to start sleeping back in her own bed tonight.  She quickly told him she is NOT well enough and it might take the summer!!!!  Mike said I needed to stop this right now.   All week she has been clinging to me.  She doesn't want anyone else and she won't leave my side.  This is going to be fun!!!! We have a couch in our room, I think tonight I will move her there.  We will see..... Melissa
