dr. bour in greenville, sc

My family doctor called and said that they had left my name and number with dr. bour and that his office would call and set up an appointment.  How long does it usually take for them to call???

 

They close early on Friday, I would not wait for them to call, I would just call then first thing on Moday @ 676-1072  Patti

When I had surgery, my doctor tried to do the same thing.  They won't make an appointment with you until after you come to their informational session.  So when they do call, it will be to tell you that. Just call early on Monday and get the info for the next session and sign up.  Then after that, you get an appointment with Lacey where you pay your fee.  (There's a $2000 fee not covered by insurance.)  THEN you get your appointment with Dr. Bour, the psychologist and the nutritionist.  Then they submit everyhting to insurance.

thanks for the info.  i guess i am so excited that i don't want to wait, but......i had better gear up to wait, right?????

I think they told us that the average wait, once you've attended the info session and enroll in the program, is about 3 months (unless your insurance requires a 6 -month diet).  That was my experience ... info session at the end of February, surgery at the end of May. Good luck!
