update

Joel just got back from Dr. B,  he has lost 62 lbs!!!!     

He still has his drain, but will take it out Thurs and moving on to pureed foods then too!!!   Just wanted to share with our new friends!!!!        ~ Deidre    

 

Holy Crap!!! THATS AMAZING!!!!   GOOD JOB JOEL!!!!!

OMG! Joel is going to lose ALL the weight it took me a YEAR to lose before his 3 month appointment!!! Its official, I resent him... And a little hint that made me feel like I was cheating on the pureed diet. Hormel 98% Fat free Turkey chili NO beans pureed in a blender with cheese melted on top.  TONS of protien, the right amoutn of calories and hardly no fat.  After all the sweet stuff on full liquids, this felt like heaven.  Plus two cans lasted me an entire week! Tell him I'm happy for him!

LOL            I will give him the tip...that is all I hear...whine whine  its too sweet !!  oops, did I say whine?  sssshhhh  don't tell him!!  lol!   Thanks for that tip...

 Doing the happy dance!! I am so proud of him!

WOW WOW WOW!  I had to go back and check ... and it took me FOUR MONTHS to do what Joel has already done!   I bet Thursday seems like an eternity away to him right now.  Here's hoping the time flies! Happy news, indeed!

Thanks, I know it is amazing...men suck, they lose weight faster than us!!  But we are proud of him!   I hope things are ok with you...been praying for you and your family! ~ Deidre
