New Boobies!! They're here!!

Hey Guys!! I feel wonderful for having surgery yesterday!!  I love my new chi chi's and they are really swollen right now.  Dr Fuentes was absolutely wonderful, and he did a small scar revision on my LBL scar from Christmas where it got a little wide, and also I need it on my backside, from leaning over and it pulls it, but he said not until I do the thigh lift and butt lift/injections next summer.  He also lipoed a little bit of my upper abs!!  150cc's, not too much, he said there is no fat on my abs anywhere, but that little bit, so I am thrilled so far!! I am not in much pain.  I feel like I have 2 rocks on my chest, no showering until Sunday, but that is okay.  I go back in 1 week for a followup, and Tommy can take me then. Yesterday I had surgery in Mexico, and came home the same day...I spent the night prior there, so my son could sleep in the hotel room and then come pick me up at 1pm, and the nurse called Alex, a local driver who can transport you across the border in the "Fast lane" and I did not even have to get out of the van.  He has a "Fast Pass" and the guard knew I had surgery, so they just wave you though, no waiting, I think all in all it took us 20 minutes??  Sometimes it can take longer, but it was a Thursday morning, not weekend, which makes a big difference!! Here is some info if anyone wants it....I know some of the people on here have used Dr Fuentes or Dr Quiroz at www.cosmedclinic.com  they are some of the TOP plastic surgeons in all of Southern California and of Mexico.  They both have double board certification in the USA and Mexico and trained at UCI Med Center, my hospital in Santa Ana, and also Beverly Hills for 2 years under a fellowship.  Dr. Q also studied in Texas at UofT I think....as well as Dr Campos, who is the laser expert and he studied in Spain. She is opening a recovery house, and I told her I would help spread the word for her. Take care, and I definitely would have stayed there this week, but she is not open until end of month of June. Hi Deborah I am glad you are doing Ok, I wanted to let you know I have not heard back from Amy yet ,but last time she email me, she ask me if it was ok for her to pay me with her furniture for what she owe me, I agreed, so the only thing I though I could do with it, is to open an aftercare place of my own. I am going to start with something small, I would not take more then 5 patients I will try not to get more than 4. I will start working on July 1st. hopefully for the time you scheduled your surgery I will be open, I would love for you to stay with me 1o days, 1week, 5 days what ever, and if you like it you can pass the word around. Not sure about prices I think I will charge $130 American Dollars a day, everything included. And the house wil be small but I am sure patients will have the best care around. I am going to be working at the house with the help of other 3 nurses, I already talk to a dietician so I can have help with the menus, and I will also have a conection with a physical therapist and a psicologistic in case patients think they need there expertices. Also, I paid 95.00 per night for the Grand hotel and the food for 2 of us, not that expensive was $42.00, so I already was over what Perla will charge for all inclusive, 3 meals plus snacks!!  So, The Grand was nice, but staying at a house for big surgeries, like my thigh lift and my lower body lift (the house I stayed at in December is closed)...is definitely the way to go!!!  No worries!! I forgot to mention that my new boobies weigh 3 pounds, so 1.5lbs each!!  Cohesive Gel Implants, because I had lost a ton of water weight the night before, I had diahrrea really bad!!! So, with water weight gain, etc...I weighed 153 after surgery, and before surgery I weighed 147, so you can see where the water weight and boob weight played in. I will probably be losing as I can't drink or eat much, but I am pushing my protein shakes!!!  No real food, yucky right now Just thought you guys would like to know. I am so happy for you.  I had a reduction about 10 years ago.  Now, after having those babies custom made into a C cup, they are deflating.  Trent teases me that he bets I wish I still had them.  Not really, then they would be saggie.  I can see where they are leaving me though.  Before long I will only have the shell of where they use to be.   Not to be rude, but how much does it cost to go there, stay, transportation and get the surgery?  I guess I need to start saving now for my surgeries.   I probably will want a tummy tuck.  So far, 70 pounds down and 50 more to go.  I look at your journey, and it's like being given a second chance at life...and taking that chance and making the most out of it.  I am proud of you and should be proud of yourself. Keep on taking care of YOU.  Can't wait to see the outcome.   Deb

YAY!  New boobies! You'll have to let us know if you lose any...ahem...sensation in your nipples... I don't think my breasts look that bad, but I definitely want a tummy tuck.  Since I KNOW insurance won't pay for it, I might be making a trip to Mexico one day.  If it doesn't cost too much more, I may want to go ahead and throw in some implants for  the heck of it...but not if I lose sensation. 

What sensation??  HAHA.....Dr Fuentes is defnitely an artist!!  If you cannot afford the TT or BL/BA, then I DEFINITELY recommend fying down.  I never in a million years would have thought that I would have gone to Mexico for my surgery, but I read about so many people on www.plasticsurgeryjourneys.com who did it, and it is so quick and easy to get there, and the most important, that Dr Fuentes/Dr Quiroz/Dr Campos are some of the top plastic surgeons in all of Mexico and I will stretch and also include all of Southern CA.  They were doing techniques that no doctor thought of doing. Dr Fuentes said that instead of cutting me down the middle to cinch my waist in, (2 other USA docs told that I need to have that) that he could make the same thing happen without cutting me up my stomach.  He said he could hide the upper ab skin in my breast lift, and I think he did that.  I have no idea because I have on my bra.  He chose the size, not me, although I told him large C small D, he said it would depend on what looked best. My mom and dad did not even know I was doing it, they freak, and with all my infected tooth stuff,.'' I told my mom last night, and she said my dad said nothing, but she knew I needed it as last time she saw me naked, last month when I went home....she said my boobs looked like baby socks iwth sand in them.  I was an A then.  I think now I am a large C....I have on a velcro adjustable bra, so not really sure. Congrats Deb!     We exchanged some msgs a while back about housing in SC!  I am from Boston but looking at relocating in possibly a few months or so.    I am coming to SC soon (oh precisly.... 18 days and 19 hours.... but who is really counting...  )    anyway.... I have a countdown timer on my computer....  that is how excited I am...!!   its my first visit!!! I had breast surgery on 5/22...  no implants though.    I had it done locally.  I had researched going through mexico or other places when i found out that my insurance wouldnt cover it.   Even when it was determined that mine was medically necessary.     Since that time my employer has agreed to help me pay it.   3 surgeons have documented that it was medically necessary and so did BC/BS, but it was an exclusion in my company policy that was so strict and I was 'too proud' for too long to go to the human resource department and my boss and ask for help......  (let that be a lesson to me!!)    geeesh.    so.... now they are offering help,  I have already been charged through a company called CareCredit but there are all kinds of companies that will help finance and then you can get a fixed rate with very low finance charges.   its great. My pain was not that bad, i understand thought that with implants it can be a lot worse?   How are you feeling?   Will you go back to mexico for follow up visits?   how does that work? J. I am sooo excited for you!!!  A LOOOONG time ago I did have a lift, and no implants, and that was a piece of cake.  Now with the implants, I am making new friends with the rocks sitting on my chest.  I am sooo excited, I can't wait to see them when they are healed and the swelling is down!! I love love the cohesive gel implants!!!  They feel so real!! Anyway, he did a little scar revision on my front incision for my lower body lift.  I am very happy about that too. :) The back needs it as well, but he said not until I get the thigh lift and butt aug....with fat injecitons a year from now (nursing school). So, after nursing school I can get the rest of my surgery.
