I bet I will love them with cheese or butter!!    :)     Mary told me that I would like them with shrimp, but I am not sure.      I am determined to love them.    Mary was going to mail me some of hers from her home a few times, but I wanted to wait and have them in SC. I wish so much that i could see you, Kathy!     You and all the great ladies, and gay Chris.... !  lol :)

All I can say is Grits are Nasty! And do not try to eat them with sugar and milk like cream of wheat because you will get really weird looks. " Just say no to Grits". Marcey

Well Im a cali girl and we DONT have grits back home. But I can say that I have had them with sugar and with shrimp... and to tell you da truth, they dont taste like anything. IN my lil small town we have  GRITS FESTIVAL... and they let the kids ROLL in the GRITS... but they are like HOT tapioca.... but its funny because all my friends back home never knew they existed... and we also thought "piggly wiggly" was a sick joke... no one thought it existed in real life either... THE SOUTH IS DEFINETLY UNIQUE

Grits and shrimp one day, grits and overlite eggs with cornbeef hash  all mixed together to another day.  Ummmmm No sugar, no milk.  The only things you add to grits are butter, cheese, cornbeef hash, eggs, country liver puddin', ham, bacon or sausage. Deb
