Thinking about plastics
I went to see Dr. Harvey today - and Mary and Kelly were right, he is WONDERFUL. He made me feel so good about myself and I am so glad I went.
He told me that I had lots of skin he could take off from my abdomin area (which I knew). He also asked if I wanted to take care of my "girls" at the same time. I hadn't thought about that - didn't realize they would do both at the same time - but now I have more to think about.
I have decided if insurance won't pay (which is very doubtful) I am going to wait until after the first of the year. I think I am going to let him do both the TT and "girls" at the same time so I only have to go through one surgery. I get a discount on the second procedure, plus will save anesthesia (sp??) and operating room money too.
I am nervous but VERY excited. I am going to get working on exercise and diet so I can up my protein and be in good shape for the surgery.

Hey Wendy,
I was the first to use Dr Harvey. He is in practice with Dr Hagerty with Charleston Plastic Surgery. (843) 722-1985. I had an "unpleasant" tummy tuck with another doctor and went to Dr. Harvey for my breast reduction. I can't say enough good things about him and his office. From the moment you walk in you feel like a princess. His creditials are amazing, several doctor's that I know recommended him to me after my first botched surgery. He is going to fix my stomach for me next year. He says that we have to wait for ALL of the swelling to go down.
He took 6.5 pounds from my breasts. I cannot believe how they look. The scarring is very minimal. I have state BCBS and had no trouble getting approved.
If you private message me I will send you my before and after pictures. I went from a 38FFF to a 36C. They are so firm I don't even have to wear a bra, but I do.
Sorry for the long post, but I LOVE Dr. Harvey.
Mary

I totally agree, and this was in my appeals letter to my insurance company..... I wrote "you approved my GBS and this was in direct correlation to that..... or something that sounded REALLY GOOD...lol at the time with all my dictionarys and such around me... lolol
and they approved it and then my company had an exclusion in their policy.... so just beware. it can get tricky with plastics. but i have done extensive research and will be happy to be a sounding board.
hugs.

I can go the distance... I do not care how far... I know every mile will be worth my while.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my DOGS already think I am!
