Hi friends,

I am having withdrawals from the boards. i have been on and off over the past 10 days. its been a very difficult time, but things are starting to look up again.

In just 3 weeks from today I fly into SC and I can not wait. i cant believe it is finally going to be that day!

Oh, and Deb.... thanks for the call last night, and the night before... I have been literally passing out at like 9:30 these past few nights....

I had my surgery on May 22nd. Things went great, I stayed in the hosp 1 night. They wanted to keep me a 2nd night, but wanted me to pay right then and there. I had a high fever and a lot of pain. I chose to go home and have my pain/fever in my own bed. lol Oh, and the kicker was I was in pediatrics because all the other floors were full. lol

Today I go back to work for partial as tolerated, much to the dismay of my dr. but she agreed to write the letter, as I told her I have a trip in 3 weeks and I am determined to get my life moving!! (and MOVE)

I miss you all, I miss posting and reading the posts. My surgery was intense, (around 3 hours) but i was told that the pain should go away soooooon?! :) until then I will be patient.

Thanks, Susann! I am looking so forward to seeing you! I will be there in 3 weeks, I can hardly wait!! I will be at the meeting on Thursday night at the Pizza Inn! :) 6/21 I was looking at a 'projected weather forecast' wow. I have boston blood. lol. is the pizza inn air conditioned? j/k. xo

Too funny. EVERYTHING in SC is air conditioned...except of course the beach which, if we could figure out how to a/c it we would! See you soon!

so, if EVERYTHING is air conditioned... how do you dress? in layers? lol. oh boy. I am always cold here in Boston when I am in doors. The weather here has been funny the past few years though and everyone blames it on global warming. (i have yet to see that movie "an Inconvenient truth") We get maybe 2 months of really hot days... and the winters seem SO LONG!! I guess I will just have 5 suitcases..... lol I will be wearing CAPRIS at the beach ****il they figure out how to make a bathing suit that goes to the knees....) xo

You don't really get cold because it is so hot outside.....well, some people get cold, but I don't.... Just bring shorts/capris and casual. We are a tourist town, so anything goes. As for the beach, you will see so many different things down there you won't care.....lol

I just wanted to say welcome home...and I hope you get to feeling better and we will br praying for you!! Take care of yourself and rest...I know you were especially glad to get home to your own bed!
