Thanks to you, Kathy, for inviting us!!....and Mike and Melissa (the grillmasters!!). I had a GREAT time socializing with you guys.....as always!!

It's hard to break those habits of preparing food for an army...(at least we had healthy food choices)!! I even had a plate full of food before I realized that there was no way I was going to eat all of it.

Ready for next time.... If I can talk my dad into it (which shouldn't be too hard), would you guys want to drive to Boiling Springs and have a pool party at my dad's house??? Something to think about!!

Absolutely!!!.....now, I gotta call my dad and make sure that is ok with him.

Nah, I think it will be safe for him to hang around...but he might want to keep a lock on his door if the kids drive him crazy!!

Hey Kathy ... I got online this AM to thank you and Melissa for hosting such a nice time for all of us to share.  Emilie and I agreed it was a most generous thing to do!  I told Jim he missed a good chance to meet so many of "the girls" and their hubbies ... AND a really good meal, but maybe it won't be long until we can get together again.  (He's home from work today, still on the verge of death ... pray for me.) The food was delicious, the weather was great (my scalp is sunburned though ... another reason to love my thin thin hair  ), the kids were beautiful, and the company was PERFECT. Thank you again! P.S.  I'll get the pics e-mailed to you later today.

Tell Jim I hope he feels better soon! For his and YOUR sanity.  (I know if he is ANYTHING like Dave, he is at deaths door to be missing work!) Sorry about your scalp, I'm even sorrier for you when it starts PEELING!  There is actually some stuff to keep your scalp from sunburning.  It is pretty gentle and they sell it with the baby stuff.  WE had to use it on Teagan  when she was a baby, she was a shiny bald baby.  Probably the reason why I LOVE to rub bald mens heads, but I have no sexual attraction to them at all. Someone left their baggie of fruit that you brought.  No worries.  Teagan ate it all while watching cartoons!  LOL!  Their loss!  You should NEVER leave a baggie of fruit unattended around that girl!
