hernia repair pics added

I added a couple of my hernia repair pics to my profile if anyone would like to see them... the boobage and groin area has been cropped out of the pics ... so hopefully no one would toss their cookies....  I mean protein bars...  not for the weak stomach folks though... it's a rough surgery for me Stephie

Stephanie, what type of stomach surgery did you have? Is it to tighten the skin? You are in my prayers. Lucinda

no this was just a hernia repair.... will be another year before I can have the skin stuff done sweetie thank you for the prayers, they really do help me alot *hugs*

ouchhhh!!!ouch!!!! looks like it hurts gosh hope you heal fast & have verry little pain poor thing ouch is all I can say

I wondered where all my staples went for my stapler... That looks so painful.  I hope you are taking it easy, and letting everyone wait on you. Thanks for showing us the pics, take care and know that we are sending lots of prayers for your recovery. Deb

Thanks for sharing the pics!! I have 2 hernias that I want removed but I want to get the skin removed at the same time. What surgeon did the repair?? Did you have complications? Did it hurt worse than wls?? sorry i have so many questions.

Dr. Orsiek in spartanburg did my hernia repair...  my drains aren't working right and not sure if I'll have any complications yet till he looks at it friday... I'm not going to lie... YES this surgery hurts alot lot lot lot more than my open WLS...  I will not be going back to have the plastics done... I'll just live with my extra skin, I can't handle this one... so I know the others I wouldn't be able too... good luck hon and I hope they get both the skin and hernias done at the same time... I wasn't out from my surgery far enough for them to remove my skin yet... but I'll just keep my skin and not have any more pain like this... let me know if I can help in anyway *hugs* Stephie
