SODIUM INTAKE???

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE REGARDING SODIUM? I RECENTLY STARTED USING THE BEEF BOULLION CUBES IN 1 CUP OF HO****ER TO TRY AND HELP ME TO GET MY FLUIDS IN AND TO ALSO ADD A LITTLE TASTE TO MY WATER AND NOTICED THAT A CUBE HAS 900MG'S OF SODIUM IN IT. COULD THIS MAKE ME RETAIN FLUID AND KEEP ME FROM LOOSING WEIGHT? IT JUST FEELS SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO DRINK THIS SINCE IT'S WARM AND HAS A GOOD FLAVOR AND IT'S ALSO GOOD THAT I CAN COUNT IT TOWARDS MY DAILY FLUID INTAKE BUT AM JUST A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT THE SODIUM. ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS? THANKS IN ADVANCE. MELANIE

SOUNDS LIKE A QUESTION FOR THE DIETICIAN - BUT SEEMS LIKE i HEARD A FEW YRS BACK THAT ANYTHING OVER ABOUT 330 MG PER SERVING WAS CONSIDERED HIGH SODIUM - HI BY THE WAY - ENJOYED MEETING YOU SO MUCH LAST NIGHT.  THIS IS MY FIRST TIME VENTURING ON THE BOARD!  TEE HEE!
