As of 9:30 this am he was npo after midnight but no tests had been done. I guess Dr. Bour will go up between surgery's. He has been running a fever for a few days and I think there is an issue with his potassium. I will let you know when I hear anything else.

Please pass along my hopes that this is all resolved quickly for Joel. I know Dr. Bour will take good care of him.

Ok, one of the iv's infiltrated his hand so it blew up like a baloon. They did a ct scan and as of 3:30 still npo so his lips and tongue are cracking. Dr. Bour said that if nothing showed on the ct scan then he might chalk it up as viral and let him go home tomorrow.

I hope he does great and pulls out of this lil bump in the road.. and I hope it doesnt scare deidre out of the surgery..
