My hubby...

...had the nerve to tell me something yesterday that made me want to strangle him!! He said "Look! My pants are falling off and I had to go down an extra belt notch. I went to weigh myself and I lost 6 pounds! I don't know how that happened. I haven't been eating any different..." I said "WHAT!?!?! Those were MY 6 pounds!! I was supposed to lose those 6 pounds, not you!!!" He just shrugged. He actually struggles to keep weight on. He has the fastest metabolism of anyone I know and is always active. He never needs a nap. He never sits down. Eating to him is something you just DO, like showering or brushing your teeth. *sigh* I wanna be like him! But when his mom and sister called yesterday, I "TOLD" on him. So he had to listen to a good 10 minute lecture. LOL! I got my revenge. Kathy

The nerve!! Men!!! It's like my ex told me a few weeks ago that he had gained 40 pounds since he quit smoking. But when I saw him Saturday, he didn't look like he had gained anything. He just started going to the gym and has already lost most of it. I hate him!!! Hugs, Dianne

Oh wait... I got one for ya... Sunday morning after church my family and I head to the store for a few groceries. At check out, my hubby picks up the US WEEKLY... with MS. RICKY LAKE on the cover... of course with a headline: "From a size 24 to a 4" and my hubby says.... "see there, thats what you need to read" To which I reply... "what are you talking about" and his stupid @$$ proceeds on with ..."you need to read how Ricky Lake did it! She lost all her weight without all that drastic surgery stuff you keep talking about..." AND I ALMOST KILLED HIM RIGHT THERE IN THE CHECK OUT LINE! I THOUGHT THAT MOMENT WAS SURELY HIS LAST ONE HERE ON EARTH!!!!

Hi Crystal... I would not have spoken to him for the rest of the day, heck the rest of the week. I would have looked at him and said, "Different Tool, Same results. If I had the money for a personal chef to fix ALL my meals, and a personal trainer to work out with me EVERY day, maybe? Either way it is a tool, I am choosing or thinking about choosing the one that works for me." The thing is that most of those celebrities that lose the weight "the old fashion" way have those things, a personal chef and trainer (look at Oprah) Not taking anything away from her, but it she has a team of people giving her "tools" to help her lose weight and keep it off. Just like we got our "tool". People who just do not understand can say the most hurtful things! Keep your chin up! Sorry got on my soap box, but comments like that and the one about "the easy way out" really set me off. Sorry! Julie

I saw that magazine too. I'm glad that people can lose so much weight by themselves, but she's yo-yo'd before. Just tell you r hubby that you will lose the weight the "Ricki Lake" way if he promises to finance it. I'm sure all her meals were preapared for her, so that means a personal chef or some sort of nutrisystem/jenny craig type plan. Expen$ive... Then there is the HOT personal trainer you will have to see for 3 hours a day/ 6 days a week at $100 an hour... Then the psychologist appontments to fight the head thing. Of course you will need to quit your job and hire a nanny to have time for all this training and stuff... I think he may want to start looking for a second and third job... But at least you won't have to have that DRASTIC surgery stuff!

The nerve of him... Losing your 6 lbs! Shame on him. But that is a man for you, most of them can think about it and drop 5 lbs in a second! Hope you have a good Monday! Julie

I know. I totally wish we could switch for just a couple of weeks! I would probably be able to reach goal by then! I thought about you on Sunday when we picked Maggie up from the groomers I thought "Julie is gonna be RICH!!" We let the students do the grooming for a $10 discount and the bill was still $50... Her cut was definiteyl student quality, but she still looked gorgeous! And NO bows! As a matter fo fact...she didn't even get a bandana!! I was jipped!
