SHREK 3

ok... so who is going to see Shrek this weekend? and who is going to see it that does NOT have kids ? I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend..... 4 days till my surgery and I am a bit of a wreck...so I will be on and off all weekend. Trying not to fill my prescription that my doctor gave me ahead of time... lol J. xo

Congrats on the 4 days til surgery... you will not regret it!!! Keep us posted. I will be praying for a quick recovery. I am thinking about seeing Shrek 3 this week... post about what you think about it and if it is worth it. Have a great weekend! Pam

Just got back - too cute! My youngest had a rough week - highly allergic to poison ivy - found that out the hard way - so I took him out of school early and played hookey at the movies. I am greatest (according to him) (at least for the moment) Colleen

how was my Antonio's character? The ***** cat? I hear it is going to have a spin off movie?! I think I will go to the early morning sunday movie. ps. YOU ARE THE GREATEST, taking a child out of school and bringing them to the movies.. omg... and was their popcorn and/or candy involved... lol?! xo

Hey J, Just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you on your BIG day. Thoughts and prayers your way. (((HUGS)))) And yes I plan on taking my little man to see Shrek this weekend. He's all excited about it too. I'll have to give you a call this evening since we haven't talked in a few days.

Tanya, Nice to hear from you, I think its been more like 'weeks' than days since we have spoken! I can use all the prayers and thoughts and friendship that are offered and I think you are a sweetie! I will be in Charleston in 33 days! I cant wait. Deb is going to get me at the airport and we are going to tour around the city and stay in Charleston also. I am going to the support meeting on Thursday night, and Julie is bringing me to that. A bunch of us are going to go out after the meeting for a drink I hope you can join us for that, it would be so much fun. In any event I am staying in the city for 4 nights, so I will def. see you at some point. I plan on seeing Shrek, maybe this weekend, hopefully Sunday morning. xo

I'm sorry I didn't realize things had changed and Deb was gonna pick you up. I don't make it to many meetings for many more reasons than 1 but hopefully we'll get to meet before you leave.

Hi Cutie.. Nothing had 'changed' per se. I had not made set plans because I was not sure what I was doing as far as staying any place,etc. But Deb is going to pick me up and then stay at the hotel with me the first night so she can guide me around and I won't be alone overnight. So, that was the best plan for me. I would really love to see you too! I want to see everyone that has been so kind and helpful to me (like you have, Tanya) and the support group meeting is the best place for a big group to gather and then maybe all go out after? so if you can do that it would be so wonderful!! Julie and I are going to do some poking around one day, so maybe you could join us, but you wont get me in any haunted houses.... lol. I know you told me you two like that stuff.... lol. (or is it just the scary movies you like?) In any event I will have my phone with me and you have my # and I have yours.... we WILL speak! xo

Let my kids play hooky from school today and took them to see Shrek. I loved it just as well as the first, better than the second to me. I looked at the reviews before I went and they were not that good but I don't know why. It was worth seeing to me. My two cents worth. Good luck on your surgery in 4 days. Have a good weekend. Tina
