WHATS YOUR FAVORITE???
So, I was packing my lunch bag for work today....I've been eating out alot and need to curb it for financial and health reasons....we've all been there! Anyway, we keep a freezer full of Lean Cuisines, Healthy Choices and those little lean Michealinas or whatever they're called. I dont really venture out and try new dishes, I stick to the same ole ones, maybe why I stood looking at the freeze for wayyyyy too long? So, I wondered what were some of you guys favorites that you lilke to get?? I am not a big seafood eater, I do love shrimp, however with this surgery in my future, I have been willing to venture out and try different seafood....like fried flounder...LOL yep, 'fried' and Talapia was pretty good....so, beautiful people out there, again, what are some of your favorite frozen entrees??
Happy Hump Day~
Melissa
Hey Melissa
I like the Lean Cuisines chicken fettucini 23 grams of protein and the cheese canneloni (sp). I don't remember how much protein is in it but it is high! I am a pasta junky so this is how I get my fix and still get in my protein!! I don;t eat them often because of all the sodium, but I do keep them in the freezer for the occasional need something fast or NEED PASTA!!!!!!!
I work on the weekends and I always pack a lunch for myself to stay away from the drive thrus ( I am a home health RN and constantly passing them). I usually pack cheese sticks and protein bars as well.
Hope this helps!!

Weigh****chers has some great meals.. and always high in protein..
I love the turkey and taters... I buy all my frozen meals and bring a grocery bag into work on Monday's and stock the freezer.. That way I don't have to run out and get something.. and it give me time to watch the first 30 minutes of Y & R
Hi Melissa,
You know what I like to do sometimes... (when I am feeling adventurous and motivated!!)
I like to cook up a bunch of different foods on a sunday and then freeze them into my size containers for the week or weeks.... that way on work days I can just grab something out of the freezer and I know what the calorie count is, and if it has the number of protein, etc. I do this with coldcuts too, because I was buying coldcuts and they were going bad, and they actually freeze pretty well.
There are a lot of great things you can buy at BJS and then cook up and break down the portions to cut down on costs... or if you go to SAMS or COSTCO or a place like that. I am all about budgeting and saving. I buy all the little containers and small ziploc bags. I dont even like to eat out that much because I never finish anything out anymore.... or if i do I end up eating it 3x.
