Jen and Kathy's Post/The Board

In response to Kathy and Jen's post... and my 2 cents (I will probably get flamed for this but...) First off, I hate it that the UPS group had this happen to them. It is terrible how the minority is upsetting you guys. I agree 100 % with you. All of you are a great bunch of people. I can always count on a smile and a good laugh when I am on the board with you. As you know we have had a rumor, let me repeat that A RUMOR, that is was happening to the LCBBs. So I can only image how I would feel if it was true down here. I am so sorry. Kathy, your Thank You statements about made me cry they were so true Next, I love and value EVERYONE on this board, whether you are from the Upstate, Midlands, or Lowcountry and whether I have met you or not. This board is for SUPPORT. I would not have gotten to where I am today without the love and support of you ALL! And I mean that. We have a bond that was instantly formed the minute we started thinking of having the surgery. You know how it is said that you do not know what another person has gone through without walking a mile in their shoes. Now, our shoes may fit different but everyone here has walked in each other shoes, for the most part. How we got here may be different, but we sympathize with each other and our journey because we have been there and done that. We struggle every day. I know having this board and these friends, that I have made here, have made the past 14 mths a lot easier to go through. So THANK YOU TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE. We are here to support each other NO MATTER WHAT! Through the good, bad and the ugly. We are here to have fun and connect with people! We are here to help each other, no matter what stage you are at. Couldn't have said it better myself!!! I don't post all the time and I don't go to the LCBB's every week but I am here every day and I always get comfort or support or a laugh every time I come to this board. It's good to hear from people who are going through the same issues. Little things like my hair coming out haven't really bothered me because of the great people on this board willing to share where they have been, and I get to see how successful I can be!! And all the embarrassing questions newbies have are answered with love and support JUST LIKE IT SHOULD BE!! and I'll tell ya that the support should be unconditional, I LIKE to hear that others are struggling just like me. I don't feel so alone..oh wait..isn't that the point?????

That is the point... You are correct! You are not alone, nor should you feel like it. You and anyone should feel comfortable asking ANY AND ALL questions and sharing your experiences, that is how we learn from each other. That is what support is all about and the purpose of this board and the support groups...SUPPORT! Sorry about the ramble and getting on the soap box. Thanks Julie

Hi Dawn and Thanks! I just hate it that you guys are going through this! I read your post and find it hard to believe it was the Dr who brought this up based on what someone has said. I agree with another poster, you need to bring that to his attention. That is just wrong! Julie
