The dr told me that I had a seroma and proceeded to lance and drain it. How long does it take these to heal and how common are they?

Did you have plastics?? Usually it happens when you have plastics and you don't wear your binder enough to keep pressure on the skin and it develops a seroma....which is just a collection of fluid under the skin. It can also happen when you have drains removed too early. No biggie, but it can be painful. Blessings, and hope you are all better soon Deb
