OH MY GOSH

Is it that time already for you??? WOW that flew by!!! How much have you lost? I had lost another 25lbs in the past 6 months, so I was glad I did not do it too early like last summer, because it would have needed tweeking somewhat...touch ups. Congrats!!! Looks like I won't be able to get my thigh lift done now until next year ( nursing school will take up too much time, and I need at least 6 weeks to heal) not enough time right now. I might go do my breasts and some lipo though right now and that will at least be something I can do and will leave me with only one or two last surgeries. But, next July I start my RN classes, so I will be in school full time for the next 2.5 years!! Deb

Hooray for you girl!!! I am still in waiting mode and I prayed if this isn't for me that the Lord would not let me be approved for the panniculectomy but if it is and I will do well that He open the doors for me...I still have to wait two more weeks because the insurance needed another document from my surgeon. (Gastric surgeon does this because he also is trained in reconstructive surgery). Hooray... I am so happy for you an dprayed that you could get it done before move. You know you can't stand straight for three weeks after right? That is what our surgeon told us on Wed night at support meeting. I will be praying for things to go smooth and that you get everything done for you move early! Speaking of moves, I found a Christian Realtor and she is coming by to help us decide on asking price for our home. Love ya Girl...BTW you look amazing! After I have my panniculectomy, I lost more weight just because I was so much more comfortable and agile. Exercise became so much easier. Dr Harvey says that you just don't want to lose a lot more weight after the surgery. But the surgery also instantly took off 8 pounds for me. I'm going on the 30th for my followup with another of our LCBB's for a consult. I'm so excited for everyone. I'm planning on getting him to fix my stomach over Christmas I think Mary

THAT'S ONE OF THE REASONS I'M EXERCISING WITH RESISTENCE & WEIGHTS ... SO WHEN I GET SOME PLASTICS, THEY CAN TAKE AS MUCH SKIN OFF AS POSSIBLE SO IF I DO HAPPEN TO LOSE A FEW MORE POUNDS AFTERWARDS, I DON'T END UP HAVING SAGGY SKIN AGAIN & HAVING TO HAVE A RE-DO. I REMEMBER YOU SAYING HOW TERRIBLY PAINFUL YOUR RE-DO WAS. I'M PLANNING ON EXERCISING UNTIL MY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY (END OF OCT), THEN I'LL CHECK ON PLASTICS. HOPEFULLY, I'LL HAVE TIGHTENED UP MY MUSCLES BY THEN AS I'D HAVE BEEN EXERCISING 6 MONTHS BY THEN. ALTHOUGH I'D LOVE TO LOSE ANOTHER 30 #s BEFORE PLASTICS, I REALLY DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN BASED ON DOC B's COMMENTS & WATCHING OTHER LONG TIMERS & HOW THE WEIGHT LOSS JUST SEEMS TO COME TO A STOP/SLOW DOWN.
