Well we went to columbia yesterday for the specialist . They did a test on her to see if she had a "leak" of air from her pallet .. it shows she might have a small leak but they dont want to rush to do surgery on her since she hasnt had much speech therapy.. so they want to see her again in 6 mths to redo the test and to put a light down her nose to check the airways then.. so No surgery right now!!! *yay* God is good! so now I can rest easy for a while.. and luckily her next visit will be before they put any appliances in her mouth to correct her jaw so she should be ok for the test then! thanks for all your prayers and thoughts! jen

That is GREAT news. I don't know what the chances are of this correcting itself, but I'll be praying that it does! Kathy

OK Jen, breath a big sigh of relief - Sounds like a great dr. to not want to "rush" anything - always made me feel better with the medical problems I had with 2 of my children when the Dr. tried all avenues prior to just wanting to operate on my babies, made me feel that we weren't just "another case" to him, but that my children were as important to him as they were to me. Now enjoy your vacation with your family!!! Colleen

Whew! That is a wonderful report. It sounds as if you have a superl Dr. I will be praying that she will just grown out of this, and she will just be healed! God can do anything! Now. . . . have a great time at Disney! You all deserve it soooo much. Terri

Glad to hear it! Keep working with that speech therapist. Early intervention is ALWAYS the most important. Rachel
